stuck in my head

You know how the last song you hear gets stuck in your head sometimes? Yeah, well usually I listen to music all the time - at work, at the gym, in the car and at home, so it usually doesn't last long. However, with me going through this phase of listening to podcasts a lot, I tend to get songs from the radio in my head - thankfully this evening its been November Rain by Guns N' Roses, which is fine by me, it just means several hours of continuous air guitaring. What's not cool is when the last song you hear is something like the latest offering from Britney Spears or something (the gym has a very, er, poppy soundtrack most days), and it haunts you continuously afterwards. You try various methods of removal, such as turning the music up really loud in the car and singing along, but it just won't budge. You try a cold shower, banging your head against the wall, playing guitar, doing cartwheels, reading a book, but somehow it still lingers. Then suddenly you see Friends on TV and the theme song replaces Britney. Thankfully. But its starting to get really annoying now. Lets see if posting on my blog helps it, when the rain starts to pour. I'll be there for you, like I've been there before, I'll be there for you, cause you'll be there for me too. Damn. I think I might give the banging of the head against the wall another go.

lol - you gotta hate when that happens. Try getting hiccups - they're more annoying, so they usually drown out the rhythm of the song and before long, you've got another annoyance!

As for my post on my blog - I want someONE (i know it says someTHING) but that was just to be vague =P ) So yer - I dunno how to steal hearts... except with scalpels and an operating theatre...
